2017 Santa Ynez Condor Classic Youth Track Meet

The first annual Santa Ynez Valley Condor Classic Youth Track Meet will be held on Sunday, April 9th at the Santa Ynez High School starting at 9:00am. This youth track meet is open to the first 500 registrants from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The fee is $10.00 per athlete and pre-registration is required. The deadline to register is 10:00pm on Friday, April 7th. We will not accept any day of meet registrations. Track Clubs, Schools and Unattached Youth Athletes are invited. This is a USATF Sanctioned Track Meet.

The meet will start at 9:00am. We recommend arriving by 8:30am for check-in. Here is the list of events with eligible grades:

Field Events (girls first then boys for each age group)
9:00am - Long Jump (K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8)
9:00am - High Jump (7-8, 5-6, 3-4)
9:00am - Shot Put (3-4, 5-6, 7-8)
10:00am - Javelin (7-8, 5-6, 3-4)

Track Events start at 9:15am (girls first then boys for each age group)
3200m (grades 3-4, 5-6, 7-8)
100m hurdles (grades 7-8)
80m hurdles (grades 5-6)
100m (grades K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8)
1500m (grades 3-4, 5-6, 7-8)
400m (grades K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8)
4x100m relay (grades K-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8)
800m (grades 3-4, 5-6, 7-8)
200m (grades K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8)
4x400m relay (grades 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8)

Awards for 1st through 6th place.

There is no fee for parking. We just added concessions, so will have food and water / energy drinks available for purchase!
